Tokyo Vocational School was founded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture at Kuramae.
Tokyo Vocational School was renamed Tokyo Technical School.
Tokyo Technical School was renamed Tokyo Higher Technical School.
The status of Tokyo Technical School was raised to that of a degree-conferiing University as Tokyo Kogyo Daigaku(Tokyo Institute of Technology).
The National School Establishment Law was enacted.Tokyo Institute of Technology was reorganized under thereformed education system and three-year course was expanded to four-year course.The Faculty of Engineering was established.
The Graduate School of Engineering was established.
The Research Laboratory of Building Materials(established in 1934.), Reasearch Laboratory of Resources Utilization(established in 1939.), Reasearch Laboratory of Ceramic Industry(established in 1943.), Reasearch Laboratory of
Electronics(established in 1944.) and Reasearch Laboratory of Fuel Science(established in 1944.) were integrated into four research laboratories; Research Laboratory of Building Materials, Reasearch Laboratory of Resources Utilization, Precision and Intelligence Laboratory and Research Laboratpry of Ceramic Industry.
The Faculty of Engineering was renamed the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
The Graduate School of Engineering renamedthe Graduate School of Science and Engineering.
The Faculty of Engineering was divided into the Faculty Science and the Faculty Engineering. The Technical High School
Interdiciplinary Graduate School of Science and Engineering was established at Nagatsuta Campus.
The Faculty of Bioscience and Biotechnology was established at Nagatsuta Campus.

The Research Laboratory of Engineering Materials was renamed the Materials and Structures Laboratory.
Tokyo Institute of Technology was reestablished as an independent administrative
institution and was named "National University Coporation Tokyo Institute of Technology"
The Graduate School of Innovation Management was established.
