Inbound exchange students join a professor’s laboratory and conduct research projects under faculty supervision. Students can also join industrial factory tours and are eligible to attend classes on various topics including Advanced Energy and Environmental Technology, Japanese language, and Japanese culture and society. In August, the annual Multi-disciplinary International Student Workshop (MISW) is held, in which students present their summer research results (see photos on page 3 from 2011).
